John H. Crowley Painted Upright
Project details
A traditional piano with a modern twist! Although we take credit for the quality of finish, credit for colour choice belongs to the customer on this one - it's Farrow and Ball No.299, De Nimes. As a rule we tend to recolour smaller, modern pianos more often than not, but when asked to paint a traditional piano, we are always happy with the quality of the end product. A spray lacquer is used rather than brushing on the paint, which creates a perfectly flat finish.
We can match any colour on any piano if you feel yours could do with a revamp! Hardwearing lacquer (the same as you'd find on kitchen cabinets), alongside top class preparation and application, ensures a uniform finish that can withstand the rigours of modern life. Recoloured pianos can blend or contrast with your decor and with the right colour choice will sit happily in any interior, from traditional to contemporary.
